Sustainability
The Venue’s Initiatives
The Heathrow Business Summit will take place at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, where environmental initiatives include:

Reducing waste
A zero waste to landfill policy, with food waste processed through anaerobic digestion to produce electricity and fertiliser.

Reducing single-use plastics
An 80% reduction in single-use plastics, with plastic straws, stirrers and sauce sachets removed from the venue.

Responsible food sourcing
95% of food prepared and cooked onsite, using at least 80% British ingredients.

Saving energy
Solar panels powering the South Stand, energy-efficient LED lighting and heat recovery for heating and hot water.

Supporting biodiversity
Four onsite beehives, with the venue’s own honey used in dishes featuring honey.
People and Planet
This year, exhibitors who actively showcase their contribution to the People and Planet agenda will receive a ‘People and Planet’ mark for their stand. Look out for this symbol throughout the exhibition and discover case studies, examples of best practices or other engaging activities that showcase their amazing work.
